Sky will focus on achieving full migration of MKR to SKY next year and launching more subDAOs

Sky co-founder Rune Christensen said that more efforts will be put into the full migration of MKR to SKY in 2025, in part to help eliminate the confusion surrounding MKR and SKY. Christensen said that this will not put the funds of MKR holders at risk, and "the new proposal that is coming will make migration a requirement in order to gain usability from the token." He said that updates and more details about the migration and conversion of MKR to SKY will be announced sometime in 2025. "Our goal is to ensure that both CoinGecko and exchanges only support SKY, and MKR is just a traditional wrapper representing 24,000 SKY per MKR," he added. Sky also plans to launch more subDAOs, namely Stars, in 2025. Christensen said that the change in the economics of the SKY token (making it deflationary) opens the door to a new Star strategy, under which more subDAOs can be launched and have freedom of action. As part of the new model, subDAOs will be launched with a foundation that controls a pool of employee bonuses and makes quick decisions.
