Modular BTC Layer2 blockchain startup platform UTXO Stack announced a new round of financing with a valuation of US$50 million. The specific amount has not been disclosed. Investors include UTXO Management, PAKA Fund and CMS Holdings.
The financing will be used to accelerate the development of lightning network liquidity and introduce stablecoins into the Bitcoin ecosystem. Key milestones include:
- Provide airdrop rewards for Bitcoin liquidity providers in early January;
- Launch the first TGE on the Lightning Network in the first quarter of 2025;
- Integrate with the CKB Fiber network.
Earlier in April, modular BTC Layer2 blockchain startup platform UTXO Stack completed a seed round of financing, led by ABCDE and SNZ Capital, with strategic investment from CKB Eco Fund, OKX Ventures, Waterdrip Capital, Matrixport, y2z Ventures, DRK Lab and UTXO Management (BTC Inc.'s investment department, publisher of Bitcoin Magazine) participating.
