U.S. Congressman Tom Emmer has been appointed as vice chairman of the House Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee. The Minnesota representative has been an active supporter of the crypto industry and has introduced crypto-focused bills in the past few years, including one aimed at clarifying the classification of digital assets.
Previously, he said: "I am honored to be selected. With President Trump in the White House and Gary Gensler in the trash can of Washington, we have an excellent opportunity to ensure that the future of digital assets is guided by Americans and guided by American values." (TheBlock)
