Odaily Planet Daily News Independent developer Sebastian Vogelsang is developing a photo-sharing app Flashes for the decentralized social media project Bluesky. The app uses the same technology as Bluesky, the AT protocol, and is built using the code of the developer's early Bluesky client Skeets.
When Flashes is released, it will support photo posts of up to 4 pictures and videos of up to 1 minute. The content will be synchronized to Bluesky, and comments and messages will be communicated in real time. The developer expects to launch Flashes to the public in a few weeks and launch the TestFlight beta before that.
In addition, Vogelsang plans to launch a video-only app "Blue Screen" in the future. (TechCrunch)
