Grayscale: Genesis is not a counterparty or service provider of Grayscale’s products, and the underlying assets of all products are safe

Grayscale issued a statement on Twitter saying that Genesis, a Grayscale subsidiary company, is not a counterparty or service provider of Grayscale’s products. The assets of GBTC and other products are kept in the Coinbase cold wallet and are still safe. Grayscale products continue as usual. Operations, recent events have had no impact on product operations. Grayscale also stated that it will not borrow, re-pledge or otherwise mortgage the underlying assets, and Grayscale will continue to publish financial reports in accordance with the requirements of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
