Odaily Planet Daily News: Metaplanet, a Japanese listed company, announced its 2024 fiscal year performance report, and its Bitcoin holdings had unrealized gains of US$35 million (approximately 5.46 billion yen). As of the end of 2024, the company held a total of 1,761 BTC, with a cumulative purchase cost of US$137 million. Metaplanet plans to hold 10,000 BTC by the end of 2025 and increase its holdings to 21,000 BTC by the end of 2026. The company is increasing its Bitcoin holdings through the issuance of secured bonds, convertible bonds, equity financing and cash flow operations.
