JPMorgan Chase held $1 million in cryptocurrency ETF exposure as of Q4 last year, up nearly 69% from the previous quarter

Odaily Planet Daily News JPMorgan reported in its recent 13F form that as of December 31, its cryptocurrency exposure through ETFs was $1 million, nearly 69% higher than the $595,326 reported at the end of the third quarter of 2024. According to documents filed with the U.S. SEC, JPMorgan's Bitcoin exposure through ETFs is worth $964,322, nearly 71% higher than the previously reported $595,326, including the addition of Bitwise BITB worth $65,881 and 50 Franklin Templeton EZBC worth less than $3,000. At the same time, JPMorgan increased its Fidelity FBTC shares by 208% to 658 shares, worth $53,719. Additionally, JPMorgan reduced its position in Grayscale BTC products, cutting its holdings of 3,695 Grayscale GBTC and Mini Trusts to 492, currently worth $36,418. JPMorgan’s increased BTC exposure through ETFs is related to BlackRock IBIT, which currently holds 5,242 shares, currently worth $278,094, up from 387 previously. Although JPMorgan reduced its holdings by more than 2,000 fund shares, its exposure through the ProShares Bitcoin Futures ETF BITO grew to $527,502.
