Swap rates reflect 1.5 rate cuts this year, but the Fed’s cuts are likely to be smaller given sticky inflation. A significant depreciation of the dollar would require "either a fundamental reassessment of the uniqueness of U.S. economic growth or the emergence of a perfect disinflation phenomenon," neither of which is likely to occur in the near term. However, a significant rebound in the dollar this week is unlikely.
