Both Strugats and FalconX have chosen not to comment on his departure. Prime brokers play a crucial role in both cryptocurrency and traditional financial markets by offering trading, financing, and custody services to large institutional clients. Strugats's career prior to joining FalconX included positions at investment firm XN and Glenhill Capital. He began his professional journey as a fund accountant at GlobeOp. FalconX, founded in 2018, was valued at $8 billion during a funding round in mid-2022. The company positions itself as the leading digital assets prime brokerage for institutional clients.
