Odaily Planet Daily News: Chronicle, Ethereum's first oracle and leading provider of tokenized asset data, announced the completion of a $12 million seed round of financing, led by Strobe Ventures (formerly BlockTower Venture Capital), with participation from Galaxy Vision Hill, Brevan Howard Digital and other institutions. This round of financing will be used for product innovation, global cooperation expansion and compliance capacity building.
Chronicle focuses on providing institutional-grade data infrastructure for traditional financial institutions and DeFi projects. Its "Verified Asset Oracle" can verify the integrity of off-chain assets in real time, and currently serves tokenized asset issuers such as Centrifuge and Superstate. According to official data, Chronicle has secured more than $20 billion in total value security (TVS) since 2017.
Thomas Klocanas, partner of Strobe Ventures, said that Chronicle has unique advantages at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets, and the reliability and compliance of its infrastructure can meet institutional needs. Chronicle founder Niklas Kunkel said that this round of financing will help it become a key bridge connecting traditional finance and digital assets.
