Odaily Planet Daily News: The New Jersey Gaming Enforcement Division issued an injunction on Thursday requiring Robinhood and Kalshi to stop providing sports-based prediction market services to state residents and cancel existing bets. Robinhood partnered with Kalshi earlier this month to launch a prediction market for the NCAA basketball tournament "March Madness". Regulators said the move violated New Jersey law and the constitution, which only allows licensed entities to offer sports betting. The two companies must comply by March 28 or face enforcement action. Robinhood said its services are regulated by the CFTC and has suspended new bets from New Jersey residents. (Decrypt)
