Odaily Planet Daily News Ethereum researcher mikeneuder.eth proposed EIP-7922, which aims to improve the flexibility and efficiency of the Ethereum validator exit queue while ensuring system security. It is reported that Ethereum currently uses a fixed exit limit (about 16 exits) for each epoch. Although it can ensure economic security (control the number of exits and prevent security from decreasing), when the demand for exits surges, validators need to wait for a long time, increasing liquidity risks and funding costs. EIP-7922 proposes to dynamically adjust the exit amount based on the actual exit situation in the near future, replacing the fixed limit. The proposal is currently in the draft stage.
