ZKsync: We are working with the Security Committee to gradually convert the recovered ETH into ZK tokens

Odaily Planet Daily News The ZKsync team released an update on the investigation of the airdrop token theft on April 13, 2025, disclosing that it is working with the Security Committee to explore the gradual exchange of recovered ETH into ZK tokens, and the subsequent processing will be determined by the governance mechanism. ZKsync also stated that it will revise the token program guidelines to require all token programs to use Capped Minter V2 launched in December 2024, which includes a pre-specified end date that automatically prevents minting outside the token program window; real-time monitoring of all on-chain contracts that can access ZK tokens or protocols, and deployment of alert infrastructure and end-to-end testing.
