Arthur Hayes: ETH may rise to $5,000 by the end of the year, setting a new record high

Odaily Planet Daily News BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes believes that Ethereum may rise to $5,000 by the end of the year, almost doubling its price and setting a new record high, although the asset has recently lagged behind other competing projects such as Bitcoin and Solana. Arthur Hayes told Decrypt at the Bitcoin 2025 conference in Las Vegas, "I think ETH may rise to $4,000 to $5,000 this year. I think it is the most hated L1 public chain at present, and usually when the market cycle reverses, you should hold the most hated assets, so I think ETH may perform better than others." Arthur Hayes' latest forecast also continues his bullish stance on Bitcoin. He said earlier this month that the price of Bitcoin may rise to $1 million by 2028.
