Odaily Planet Daily News: Nasdaq-listed Singaporean company Davis Commodities announced the launch of a digital asset treasury strategy and a blockchain-driven agricultural tokenization platform to convert major physical commodities such as sugar, rice and cooking oil into tokenized, tradable digital assets. The platform is based on smart contract settlement and supports on-chain supply chain tracking, as well as tokenized collateral, allowing institutional lenders to pledge tokenized commodities.
Davis Commodities previously announced a $30 million strategic growth plan, 40% of which will be invested in Bitcoin reserves to include it in the balance sheet as a strategic financial asset. (Globenewswire)
