Canadian listed company BTCT completes $92 million in financing and buys 292.8 bitcoins

Odaily Planet Daily News Canadian listed company Bitcoin Treasury Corporation (BTCT) will officially resume trading on the TSX Venture Exchange. The exchange is TSX's public venture capital market for emerging companies. The company announced on Thursday that its common shares will be freely traded on the exchange from June 30, with the stock code "BTCT", and more than 10 million shares have been issued and circulated. Previously, the company had sold more than 10 million shares of BTCT. The resumption of trading followed a brokerage offering that raised a total of 125 million Canadian dollars (about 92 million US dollars). Part of the financing proceeds were also used to purchase Bitcoin. According to the company, it purchased 292.80 BTC at a total cost of approximately US$31.5 million. (Cointelegraph)
