The taxpayer Mr. Qiu paid the tax generated in Zhaoqing through digital RMB in Guangzhou, and the tax was directly transferred to the Zhaoqing State Treasury. On April 2 this year, Guangzhou City was approved as the third batch of digital renminbi pilot cities in the country. The Guangdong Provincial Taxation Bureau of the State Administration of Taxation and the Guangzhou Branch of the People's Bank of China worked closely to actively explore the application scenarios of digital renminbi in the field of finance and taxation. The main direction of expanding tax payment channels and providing taxpayers with more diversified and convenient tax payment services has successfully promoted the implementation of bank-side inquiry and payment services at counters, and taxpayers can realize personal digital RMB accounts to pay taxes in different places through the bank.
