Ethereum PoS Network Sees Surge in Exit and Entry Queues

According to BlockBeats, the Ethereum Proof-of-Stake (PoS) network is experiencing a significant increase in both exit and entry queues. The current exit queue has risen to 914,690 ETH, valued at approximately $4.03 billion, with withdrawal delays extending to 15 days and 21 hours. Simultaneously, the queue for joining the network has also increased, with around 623,750 ETH, worth about $2.75 billion, waiting to be processed. The current waiting period for entry is 10 days and 20 hours. This situation highlights two opposing market forces. On one hand, some stakers may be opting to secure profits following Ethereum's substantial rise since its low in April, leading to a surge in the exit queue. On the other hand, new deposits driven by regulatory benefits and institutional demand are boosting the entry queue. Companies like SharpLink Gaming and BitMine Immersion have increased their ETH holdings and are engaging in staking activities.
