Decentralized BRC 2.0 AMM Swap: CatSwap has launched on the Bitcoin mainnet, now allowing trading and liquidity additions for all 6-character BRC 20 tokens. 4- and 5-character tokens (such as ORDI and SATS) will be available in the second phase of BRC 2.0. BRC 2.0 is an upgraded version of the BRC 20 protocol, developed by domo and Best in Slot. The first phase launched on September 1st, enabling programmability for 6-character BRC 20 tokens, with the second phase now underway. According to the official announcement, CatSwap's launch marks the first time programmable swaps for native BRC 20 assets have been implemented on the Bitcoin mainnet. Through AMM trading and liquidity pool mechanisms, it completely overcomes the original functional limitations of the BRC 20 protocol. CatSwap also simultaneously launched the ORDI & BRC 20 strategy, aiming to attract more liquidity and trading volume to the platform by increasing ORDI's on-chain liquidity.
