Binance Futures to Delist Contracts and Update Leverage Tiers

According to the announcement from Binance, Binance Futures is set to close all positions and conduct an automatic settlement for specific perpetual contracts. The USDⓈ-M SLERFUSDT Perpetual Contract will be settled on 2025-10-21 at 09:00 (UTC), followed by the COIN-M CHZUSD Perpetual Contract at 10:00 (UTC). Post-settlement, these contracts will be delisted. Additionally, Binance Futures will update the leverage and margin tiers for the USDⓈ-M SLERFUSDT Perpetual Contract on 2025-10-20 at 06:30 (UTC), with the process expected to conclude within an hour. The updated leverage and margin tiers will affect existing positions, and users are advised to adjust accordingly. Notably, users will not be able to open new positions for the specified contracts starting from 2025-10-21 at 08:30 (UTC) for the USDⓈ-M SLERFUSDT Perpetual Contract and 09:30 (UTC) for the COIN-M CHZUSD Perpetual Contract. During the final hour before the scheduled settlement, the Futures Insurance Fund will not support the liquidation process. Any liquidation triggered will be executed as a single Immediate or Cancel order (IOCO). If the IOCO does not fully reduce the position to meet the Margin Maintenance requirements, the Auto-Deleveraging (ADL) process will resolve any unfilled portion. Users are strongly advised to monitor and manage open positions during the final hour due to potential volatility and reduced liquidity. Binance Futures may implement additional protective measures without further notice, including adjustments to leverage values, position values, maintenance margins, funding rates, and price index constituents. These measures aim to protect users and mitigate risks in volatile market conditions.
