Standard Chartered Bank announced a partnership with Singapore-based card issuer DCS Card Centre, becoming its principal banking partner for DeCard, a stablecoin credit card product. This card allows users to make direct stablecoin payments for everyday purchases, with Standard Chartered handling transaction settlement and reconciliation. DeCard will initially launch in Singapore, with plans to expand to other major markets in the future. Standard Chartered will provide virtual accounts and API interface services for the product, enabling instant transaction identification and clearing, thereby promoting the integration of stablecoin assets with traditional payment systems.
