According to BlockBeats, Kiln, a former staking service provider, has announced the launch of Railnet, a yield infrastructure aimed at institutions. Railnet is described as an open yield layer that standardizes the flow of capital between various yield sources. Instead of competing for deposits, it connects asset management companies, protocols, and platforms through a unified channel. The protocol is collaborating with entities such as Ethena, Sentora, and Chainlink.
In September, Kiln announced a precautionary measure following a hacking incident at SwissBorg, which resulted in a loss of approximately $41 million in SOL. Kiln plans to initiate an orderly exit of all Ethereum validator nodes on September 10, 2025, with the process expected to take 10 to 42 days, followed by an additional 9 days for withdrawals. This measure aims to ensure asset safety.
