London-based Faes filed a lawsuit against crypto mining firm Blockware, accusing it of misrepresenting the performance of its mining machines and lacking enough power to keep them running, claiming it has lost $250,000 and seeking damages. The indictment stated that the two parties signed a contract in October 2021 for Faes to purchase $525,000 worth of bitcoin mining machines and related hosting services. As part of the agreement, Blockware will host Faes’ mining machines in one of its server facilities and Responsible for monthly hosting fees and energy costs, but the plaintiffs claim that at the time of the agreement, Blockware "did not actually own or operate a facility to house the miners, nor have the ability to do so reliably."
