The Boston Fed and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have completed the CBDC feasibility study project "Hamilton" plan

Project Hamilton, a joint research project between the Boston Federal Reserve Bank (Boston Fed) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on the technical feasibility of a potential digital dollar, has come to an end. The researchers said they plan to release more findings about the project in the coming months. Foresight News noted that the project was launched in 2020 and released a white paper and open source research software OpenCBDC in February this year.
