Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, released 2025 performance data for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the X platform. The data shows that ETF assets under management reached a record $148 million last year (averaging nearly $6 billion per day), a 28% increase from the previous year. BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF IBIT ranked sixth with approximately $248.44 billion in assets under management. However, due to Bitcoin's overall poor performance last year, BlackRock IBIT was the only ETF among the top 15 with a negative annual return, at -6.41%.
