Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated in an article on the X platform that the importance of financial access far exceeds the understanding of cryptocurrency skeptics who have only lived in the United States. With 96% of the world's population residing outside the US, many have a significant need for US dollars but lack the ability to open dollar accounts. Stablecoins provide dollar access to anyone with a smartphone, enabling them to instantly send funds anywhere in the world at a cost of less than one cent.
