China’s First “General Standard for Digital Collections” Released

On September 6, the China Blockchain Financial Innovation and Development Conference and Digital Jinling Development Forum were held in Jianye, Nanjing. At the meeting, Dou Jun, Executive Secretary-General of the Blockchain Professional Committee of China Communications Industry Association, released the “General Standard for Digital Collections 1.0” and “Research Report on the Development of Digital Collections Industry” at the conference to start the “Digital Collection Recording”.

The event was sponsored by Jianye District People’s Government, Jiangsu Big Data Alliance, China Mobile Communications Federation Yuanyu Industry Committee, Nanjing Municipal Standing Committee Member and Propaganda Minister Chen Yong, former Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Wu Zhongze, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology Chi Yu, Secretary of the Jianye District Party Committee, Director of the Municipal Hexi Administrative Committee, Secretary of the Party Group Li Hui, Deputy Director of the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology Dai Jishang, Deputy Director of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee Network Information Office Huang Yifeng, Jianye District Standing Committee Member, Executive Deputy District Head Gong Chenglin , Yang Chen, member of the Standing Committee of Jianye District Committee and Minister of Propaganda, Yuan Ting, deputy head of Jianye District, and other representatives from relevant government departments, financial institutions, industry associations, and enterprises attended the event, with the theme of “Linking the New Financial Infrastructure to Embrace the New Digital Wave”. Explore and develop the “Nanjing Model” of blockchain finance, build a high-level digital economy headquarters in the Yangtze River Delta, and seek high-quality development of Nanjing’s digital economy.

At the meeting, Secretary-General Dou introduced the development process of the digital collection industry and the background of the standard initiation: from the booming foreign NFT market to the establishment of digital collection-related institutions and platforms in my country, as of the first half of this year, according to incomplete statistics, there have been nearly 2,000 various digital collection platforms. The qualifications of various platforms are uneven and mixed, so the Blockchain Professional Committee of the China Communications Industry Association has also frequently received various reports. In view of this, the China Communications Industry Association Blockchain Professional Committee took the lead in jointly launching the country’s first “General Standard for Digital Collections” compilation work on May 26, and all sectors of society responded positively. Related social organizations, scientific research institutions, digital collections Platforms have joined in one after another. As of July 30, the “Digital Collection Standard Project Working Group” for short “Data Standard Group” was officially established, and more than 40 participating sponsors have been involved. By the end of August, it has gone through such links as writing the “Digital Collection Industry Research Report”, “Digital Collection General Standard Framework 1.0”, soliciting opinions, and submitting the project for approval by the General Assembly. Finally, the “Digital Collection General Standard 1.0” was completed.  

Executive Secretary Dou Jun was invited as a guest to participate in the launching ceremony of the China Blockchain Financial Innovation Application Demonstration Zone and was hired as the first batch of specially-appointed experts from the expert think tank.
