Former Premier League footballer David Beckham has become a global brand ambassador for the DigitalBits blockchain and will be launching his own collection of NFTs in the process.
According to the brand ambassador announcement, Beckham will release a series of NFTs and “other blockchain-based digital assets,” minted on the DigitalBits blockchain.

Beckham said the NFT collection is an "opportunity to create new experiences online for my fans." According to DigitalBits, Beckham has more than 138 million followers and more than 9 billion annual exposures on Instagram, Facebook, Chinese social media platforms Weibo and Douyin.

CoinSpot Launches NFT Marketplace
Australian cryptocurrency exchange CoinSpot has announced the launch of its new in-app NFT marketplace, allowing users to purchase digital artwork using cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, ADA, and more.
CoinSpot said it will initially list only a selection of NFTs, including those from Bored Ape Yacht Club, with more series to be added in the coming months.
Gary Howells, chief product officer at CoinSpot, said its marketplace was created to simplify the process of buying NFTs, with lower fees and more affordable transactions than using other marketplaces.
Snoop and Wiz Release Music NFTs for ApeCoin Holders
American rappers Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa have released a special project consisting of 8 tracks sold as NFTs, including the Bored Ape Yacht Club theme song.
The collection, titled "Ape Drops 03: An 8th," can be minted through the Manifold, and each song can be purchased using ApeCoin (APE), ranging in price from 12 to 15 APE ($155 to $195).
Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa both own Bored Ape NFTs and set them as their Twitter avatars. Snoop has been active in the crypto space, most recently releasing 10,000 avatars and the "SnoopVerse" in partnership with The SandBox Metaverse.
Liverpool FC partners with Sotheby's
The Premier League's Liverpool football team has teamed up with New York auction house Sotheby's to announce their first NFT collection.
The collection has two series, each featuring 24 artwork NFTs depicting every player on that team. The "Legendary" collection will be auctioned off and sold to the highest bidder, while the "Hero" collection will be sold for a cheaper $75.
