Etihad Airways Unveils New NFT Collection with Enhanced Benefits and Web3 Loyalty Program

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is set to launch an exciting 300-edition expansion to its Polygon-based EY-ZERO1 non-fungible token (NFT) collection, offering an array of enticing perks to its holders.

Etihad Airways is preparing to release the latest addition to its EY-ZERO1 NFT collection, featuring 3D aircraft models, on August 1.

This limited-edition release will be the eleventh in the series, which was initially introduced in July 2022.

The new NFTs showcase a design inspired by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, donning the iconic Mission: Impossible branding from the recently-released "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One" movie.

The original EY-ZERO1 collection already bestowed exclusive benefits upon its holders, including Etihad Silver Tier status for a year and access to a special NFT holders' event at the Yas Marina Circuit Formula 1 race.

Building on this success, the forthcoming collection takes it up a notch, offering a broader range of digital and real-world rewards.

The upgraded perks for NFT holders include a coveted 12-month Etihad Guest Silver Tier Status, priority check-in services, a 25% mileage boost for earning Etihad Guest Miles, and lounge access at Abu Dhabi International airport.

Additionally, holders will enjoy membership to the exclusive Etihad: Virtual Club, with fast-track options to upgrade from Silver to Gold Tier status.

The collection also features personalised Etihad membership cards.

In September, Etihad will introduce its Web3 loyalty program, aptly named "Horizon Club."

Alongside this launch, they will unveil a staking-for-miles program that allows NFT holders to lock up their tokens and earn Etihad Guest Miles.

These miles can then be redeemed for flights, upgrades, and various other perks, creating an engaging ecosystem for the community.
