A multi-chain marketplace entirely dedicated to music NFTs is preparing to launch in a few weeks.
Centaurify says it is determined to give musicians the opportunity to take full advantage of the power of Web3 while bringing them closer to their fans.
Ethereum and Solana are the first two supported blockchains, with more networks to be included in subsequent releases.
Another core product of Centaurify will focus on issuing offline music event tickets in the form of NFT. Executives are convinced this has the potential to eliminate counterfeit tickets, prevent “scalping” and ensure that artists and organizers receive revenue when secondary market tickets are sold.
For a cutting-edge startup like this, it's critical that the leadership have the credibility and connections to change the way a multi-billion dollar industry works. Centaurify fits the bill well, as it was co-founded by Martin Danielle Bjercke, an award-winning DJ who has amassed 1 billion streams, is signed to some of the world's largest record labels, and serves as a judge Appeared on "The Voice" with mentor.
A music NFT universe
Centaurify's passion and belief in its business model is palpable - it wants to give fans an irresistible opportunity to be "part of the next-generation music scene", joining an exclusive club where they stand shoulder to shoulder with the stars.
The project told Cointelegraph: “Music is an essential part of our lives. Music can inspire, soothe and motivate. Music can even reduce anxiety, blood pressure and pain, and improve sleep quality, mood, mental alertness and memory .”
"Unfortunately, today, only a few musicians can make a decent living uploading their music online due to the low cuts of the music platforms - which prevents music creators from doing what we all love: creating New musical compositions."
"Centaurify is here to empower musicians and fans again by connecting artists to the Web3. Our NFT marketplace is the first step in a music revolution."
The startup was founded less than a year ago and since then has been working tirelessly to bring its vision to life.

metaverse rock dance floor
Centaurify recently entered into a partnership with augmented reality (AR) company PictoryTale - which will co-host an AR concert that NFT holders can attend. The show can be viewed on a smartphone, and according to Centaurify executives, it feels like the concert is happening in the living room of your own home...and it's live.
Music is often cited as one of the most compelling use cases for virtual worlds, not least because of the immersive experience it can provide and its unlimited capacity compared to old-school stadiums. Earlier this year, JPMorgan estimated that virtual worlds could represent a $1 trillion opportunity.
Focusing on the present, Centaurify is preparing to launch its own NFT collection called Access All Areas, or AAA for short. This will provide holders with a host of benefits, including eliminating minting, listing and selling fees for crypto collectibles on their platform. What's more, they also get access to high-profile airdrops—as well as invitations to exclusive offline and virtual events.
The total number of NFTs is 5,000 - they will be minted in four stages between September 29th and October 2nd.
CDs made tapes obsolete, videos made radio stars obsolete, and Spotify forever changed the way we all consume music. Now, Centaurify believes it is at the center of the next wave of change and can push the industry to new heights.
