An OG developer within the Milady ecosystem has allegedly siphoned off approximately $1 million in fees from the project.
The developer is further accused of compromising the Twitter accounts of Milady and Remilio Baby, as well as the Remilia account.
Charlotte Fang, the pseudonymous co-founder of Remilia Corporation, the entity behind the Milady collection, took to Twitter to address the situation.
She confirmed that the developer had redirected fees generated by Remilia.
Reserves Untouched by Rogue Milady Developer
However, Fang reassured the community aside from fees generated from Remilia, all Bonkler reserves, the primary contract, and the NFT assets remained secure.
Fang has temporarily halted the daily minting process for Bonkler but unveiled plans to reintroduce it following a scheduled upgrade.
The rogue developer also seized codebases and made an attempt to gain control of the project's social media accounts - demanding a significant share of their treasury and NFT reserves in the process.
The team was able to identify the individuals involved promptly based on "serious miscalculations".
Fang stated that Remilia's reserves remained unscathed, and their assets were secure.
Fang iterated that the individuals involved, namely John Duff III, Henry Smith, and Maxwell Roux, have been terminated from Remilia Corporation.
Fang has published a full copy of the complaint through the United States District Court.
Potential Identity of Milady Founder?
Yet that's not where all the discussion stops.
The complaint indicated the name of the Plantiff, namely one Krishna Okhandiar.
Some online conspiracy theorists have drawn a connection between this fairly uncommon name with a person working at Palantir.
Palantir is a data mining platform that is funded by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
