Thanks to blockchain and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), celebrities and influencers can implement new ways to better engage with their fans and audiences. There’s a project taking this concept a step further by building an ecosystem that combines NFTs, a proprietary metaverse, and a plethora of events that give users access to top celebrities.
The ecosystem Fanadise created is called the Fancy Bears Metaverse, and it revolves around entertainment, social media interactions, and celebrities. The Fancy Bears Metaverse (FBM) gives users access to artists, influencers, top athletes and Nobel Prize winners, and others who participate in the Fancy Bears club. What's more, their content can be monetized in a variety of ways, from royalty payments, NFTs, to 3D avatars, and more.
So, what's up with these bears?
The project features 8,888 NFTs, representing fancy bears, that give users access to the Metaverse Club, also known as Metaclub. In this virtual club, users can attend concerts, pool parties, and even play tennis with their favorite creators. Fanadise will host the annual Fancy Bears party, perhaps ironically twice a year, at which Fancy Bears club members can win lavish prizes such as Ferraris or yachts.
NFT is like a personal profile picture (PFP) or avatar, providing holders with access to Metaclub. They are a great and effective way to prove your membership not only to other members of the Mood for Love Club, but also to your online social circle. NFT PFP is increasingly integrated into the Metaverse - the 3D virtual universe that has taken the Internet by storm.
“Web 3.0 is upon us. An internet of applications built on the blockchain, where cryptocurrencies and NFTs play an increasingly important, even intrinsic role. We don’t want to be mere spectators in this trend. FBM is our contribution to this internet shift," said Jakub Chmielniak, co-founder of Fancy Bears Metaverse.
As co-founder Bartek Sibiga puts it, "It's simple. Fancy Bears is Europe's answer to the Bored Ape Yacht club. The star power we've attracted proves it".
Fanadise Introduces Europe's First PFP NFT Item with 3D Scanning to Access the Metaverse
Fancy Bear holders will enter the Metaclub through a 3D scanning program, bringing their avatar into the Metaverse. This is the first PFP NFT project to do so.
In addition to access to 3D scans, allowing holders to join Metaclub and Metaverse lands, Fancy Bear holders will benefit from the following perks:
- award. 30% of all royalties will be allocated to the Lottery Prize Fund. In March 2022 (and annually thereafter), Fanadise will give a bear holder a dedicated fancy bear Ferrari. There will also be other rewards, including vacations, 50 unique pairs of sneakers, fancy collectibles, and money. The total prize pool will be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
- A special bear gift. All bear holders will receive a T-shirt with their unique bear after three months and a hoodie after six months, which will be provided for free.
- Exclusive deals from brands that partner with the club. In the past, Fanadise has partnered with Samsung and L'Oreal, so be prepared for big names.
- governance. Bear holders will be able to vote on the future of the club. The FBM community will play an important role in the expansion of the ecosystem.
- Honey airdrop. Users will benefit from airdrops of Honey, which can be used to purchase land in the Metaverse.
- Real-life meet-and-greets and celebrity parties.
- Last but not least, bear holders will have full commercial rights to their NFTs and can hold, sell or transfer them at will.
Out of a total of 8,888 NFT bears, 7,888 are reserved for members of the fancy club. Everyone can become a member by joining the pre-sale whitelist as well as future public sales. 500 bears were allocated to fancy celebrities and athletes. The rest are reserved for premium brands, team members and Karma holders.
