The event is expected to be the world's largest Bitcoin pizza party to celebrate a tradition that has been going on since May 22, 2010.

Bitcoin Pizza Day commemorates the historic transaction on May 22, 2010, when Laszlo Hanyecz, an early adopter of Bitcoin, purchased two pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins. This event is seen as the first time Bitcoin was used for real transactions and also marked the beginning of Bitcoin's real value.
