然而社会各界都十分关注的Alice Guo却在7月神秘消失，并且没有人发现她出逃的行为，这也引起多方猜疑。
直到近日，Alice Guo的身影被发现在印度尼西亚，并被当地警方于2024年9月3 日星期二晚上 11 点 58 分在印度尼西亚的大雅加达地区（也称为 Jabodetabek）的丹格朗市被逮捕。
随后Alice Guo于周五被菲律宾从印尼当局引渡。

Alice Guo出逃行迹存疑
此前的8月21日，Alice Guo的姐姐希拉（Shiela Guo)和她弟弟韦斯利的女朋友王（Cassandra Ong）准备从巴淡岛返回新加坡时在印度尼西亚被捕。两人在8月22日被带回菲律宾。
根据韦斯利所述，他在8月16日先行前往巴淡岛，而希拉、爱丽丝和王则于8月18日前往巴淡岛。这也导致了她们后来的被捕。
出入境资料显示，Alice Guo 7月18日马来西亚吉隆坡入境，7月21日飞往新加坡，8月18日乘渡轮前往印度尼西亚巴淡岛。
据信，她是7月18日从印度尼西亚登巴萨飞往马来西亚吉隆坡。
根据Alice Guo的姐姐希拉说，一辆面包车把她、爱丽丝和韦斯利从塔拉克的郭氏农舍接走，然后他们经陆路开了约五个小时车到达一个港口。他们先从这里乘快艇，之后又乘一艘大船，坐了四天，然后又乘了一艘小船，最后到达马来西亚的沙巴。然而具体的时间和日期，她已经记不得了。

希拉的菲律宾护照上有7月18日的沙巴入境章。然而，菲律宾的PAOCC（总统反有组织犯罪委员会）从马来西亚获得的信息是，Alice Guo在7月18日从印尼登巴萨飞抵马来西亚吉隆坡，与同日乘船抵达沙巴的时间发生冲突。
Alice Guo受到死亡威胁
在Alice Guo被引渡回来后不久的新闻发布会上，她告诉记者：“我收到了死亡威胁，我向印尼当局寻求帮助，当我看到他们时，我很高兴，我感到很安全。“
她的乐观态度与菲律宾官员形成鲜明对比，包括菲律宾总统小费迪南德·马科斯（Ferdinand Marcos Jr），后者在Alice Guo在国外被捕后不久就警告违法者，“法律的臂膀很长，它会到达你身边”。
在抵达马尼拉后，Alice Guo立即受到移民当局的指控，指控她“不受欢迎和虚假陈述”，涉嫌通过欺诈获得菲律宾公民身份。
