Recently, the Asia Digital Economics Cooperation Symposium was held in Tokyo, Japan. Participants exchanged and discussed the current status and development trends of the digital economy in the region.
Chen Bohui, President of the Asia Academy of Digital Economics from Singapore, said that ChatGPT, which was launched only five days ago, has attracted over one million players, a milestone that Facebook took ten months to achieve. It reached 100 million users in less than three months, a record that Twitter set in nine months. The emergence of ChatGPT has instantly ignited a trillion-dollar new track. Why can the digital economy create such miracles? How can Asian countries seize development opportunities in the new round of technological singularity? These are the questions we need to think about.
Ma Xiaoping, Chairman of the Japan-China Economic and Cultural Exchange Center, believes that in the face of enormous changes in the era, regional countries can only cooperate to better promote the innovation and development of the digital economy in this region.
