Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has chosen Banana Gun (BANANA) as the inaugural altcoin for its new airdrop initiative.
Banana Gun (BANANA) is the token for the Banana Gun bot, offering trading tools for on-chain tokens. Users subscribed to Binance's Simple Earn products will receive their BNB between 03:00 on 23 June 2024, and 14:59 on 6 July 2024 (UTC+3 Turkey time). The airdrop page for BANANA HODLers is expected to be live within five hours, with token distribution to Spot Wallets one hour before trading commences.
Following the announcement, BANANA's price saw a sharp increase. Binance will list BANANA for trading on 20 July 2024 at midnight, with pairs available against BTC, USDT, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY.
Some Banana Gun users had their wallets compromised and their funds drained, an issue stemming from a front-end vulnerability that affected only a handful of users.
