Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign raised $55 million over two fundraising events this past weekend, as reported by a campaign official on Sunday.

The Democratic candidate and current U.S. Vice President generated $27 million at a fundraising event in San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts on Saturday. This event featured remarks from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and a performance by singer Andra Day.
Following this, Harris secured another $28 million during a downtown Los Angeles event that included performances by Alanis Morissette and Halle Bailey. Notable attendees included Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Demi Lovato, Jessica Alba, Lily Tomlin, and Stevie Wonder.
At both events, Harris emphasised her economic policies, positioning herself as a capitalist and highlighting the critical stakes of the upcoming election. She portrayed herself as the underdog in the race, assuring donors of her determination to win as the election date approaches.

Kamala Harris Outraises Trump by $231 Million in August
In August, Harris's campaign and the Democratic Party collectively raised $361 million, providing her with a significant financial advantage over Republican contender Donald Trump, who raised $130 million during the same period alongside the Republican Party.
With just over a month until the November 5 election, the competition between Harris and Trump remains tight. A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll indicated Harris leading Trump by 47% to 40%, though other surveys suggested a closer contest.
