MERL’s Guide to Particle Network People’s Launchpad

Particle Network People's Launchpad will be launched at 12:00 midnight UTC time on February 5th, and is open to BTC holders and ALLY The community offers an exclusive opportunity to participate in the distribution of Merlin Chain tokens.

1 Why participate?

For the first activation of our Launchpad publishing platform, we wanted to do something special for Bitcoin holders, ALLY holders, the Particle network ecosystem, and Web3 as a whole.

And we know that cooperation with Merlin Chain is a wise move. Merlin is the first EVM-compatible Bitcoin L2 ZK-rollup, integrating native compatibility with Bitcoin wallets via the Particle Network’s BTC Connect. Through the multi-chain inscription function and the use of the BRC-20 token MERL as its native token, Merlin attempts to simplify the process of dealing with inscriptions and Ordinals for Bitcoin users.

As its mainnet launch date gets closer, Merlin Chain is distributing a large portion of its native tokens to the community. And, in order to distribute these tokens to loyal, active community members, they have developed a unique distribution plan for the People’s Alliance. The summary is as follows:

• There will always be only 2.1 billion MERL in circulation.

• Merlin Chain has allocated 21 million tokens to our Launchpad, accounting for 1% of the total supply.

• These tokens, which are worth $100,000 at launch, will only have a $1,000 value share released through our Launchpad, making this opportunity very attractive.

2, Participation Steps

Step 1: Through the invitation link or on the URL (https://launchpad.ally.build/) Enter the invitation code to participate. If you don’t have an invite code, you can search on X (search for $ALLY or #PeoplesLaunchpad!) or search our Discord. If you receive an invitation code from an unknown source, we recommend that you only use the invitation code and do not click on any links.

Step 2: Associate wallet. At this step, you can choose to associate a Bitcoin wallet (Unisat, OKX or BitGet), MetaMask/Wallet Connect, or use Web 2.0 login to create a Particle wallet. To be eligible to participate, you need to own MBTC (Bitcoin that has crossed the chain into Merlin Chain) or ALLY, so we recommend that you keep this in mind when choosing a wallet. If you choose a Bitcoin wallet, you will also be asked to bind a MetaMask wallet so that you can stake ALLY in the future.

Step 3: Connect and follow Particle Network on Discord and Twitter to prove you are a unique user (unique account).

Step 4: You will log into our Launchpad page. This page will display your Power Ranking (which determines your MERL allocation) and what other tasks you can complete to gain more Power. Our dashboard also displays key information such as your expected MERL allocation, additional rules regarding unclaimed purchases, and purchase date requirements for token allocation lockups.

(1) PledgeALLY

ALLY is the badge of honor of the People's Alliance , is a Linea inscription.

To stake ALLY, you need to hold any amount of ALLY in your Particle or other Web3-related wallet. If not, you can use ETH to purchase it on the People’s Marketplace, or have someone transfer some to you. Please note that inscriptions can only be sent via the Linea mainnet.

As soon as you start staking ALLY, you will see your total inscription balance. If you want to stake, please select the ALLY amount and confirm. You will then come to a new interface, where you must authorize the transaction and pay the gas fee (pay with Linea $ETH).

You will be able to stake Up to 2 million ALLY, and get up to 80,000 Power.

(2) Bridges BTC to Merlin Chain

which can reward you with the most Power One of the activities is to hold BTC on the Merlin Chain mainnet, which will be launched on the same day as this activity.

It is crucial that in order for Launchpad to reward you with corresponding Power based on the Merlin Chain Bitcoins you hold, you must associate the wallet in Launchpad in step two. There are two implementation methods:

Method 1: Use Merlin Chain native bridge (If you are using a Bitcoin wallet, it is recommended to use the Merlin Chain native bridge).

Important: This feature will not be available at campaign launch but will be available at a later time. Please follow MerlinChain on Twitter for more news.

If you are using a Bitcoin wallet, you can use the Merlin native bridge to easily transfer your Bitcoin holdings from L1 to L2. The bridge interface will display the transaction fees and ask you to fill in relevant transfer information.

When this operation ends , you will hold MBTC on Merlin Chain, and the holding wallet is the wallet where you initiate the transaction. If you link this to our Launchpad, you should now be able to earn Power based on your Bitcoin holdings.

Method 2: Use Meson’s full-chain bridge (recommended for MetaMask and Particle Wallet users).

If you are using For any of the above wallets, you can visit the URL (https://meson.fi/) to exchange the assets you hold on any compatible chain for Bitcoin on Merlin Chain. Meson supports EVM networks like Polygon and Ethereum, as well as L2 like Arbitrum and zkSync, and even non-EVM networks like Tron, Solana, Aptos, and Sui. Meson supports cross-chain swaps of BTC, BTCB, WBTC, USDC, USDT, XDAI, and CUSD for BTC on Merlin Chain, although the assets available on each original network may vary.

Importantly, if you are using a Particle wallet, in the Meson interface, you can select your Particle wallet as the recipient of the exchange. To do this, navigate to the bottom corner of Launchpad, click on the Particle Network icon, make sure Merlin Chain is selected, copy your address, and paste it as the recipient of Meson.

After completing this process (depending on whether you selected a specific recipient address), you should receive your Merlin Chain Bitcoin (MBTC) in your Particle wallet or MetaMask .

Whatever you decide to use Either way, once completed, you can verify your on-chain activity on our app. You will be rewarded with 1000 Power for every 0.00025 BTC in your wallet, up to a maximum of 80,000 Power.

Method 3: Invite new members to join the alliance

People’s Alliance means serious business, so you will be rewarded for inviting friends to join. Every time you recommend a new user to join the platform through a unique invitation code, you will receive an additional 200 Power.

3 , Redeem your token allocation

At the bottom of the dashboard, you will see a button that displays a countdown.

Once the countdown is over, You will be able to lock your token allocation and secure your final MERL redemption by clicking the “Lock your allocation” button. You will come to a simple transaction confirmation page where you will be paid for the tokens you earned.
