The platform vowed that they would only take 20% of the shared profit, while leaving the rest of the 80% for the authors and readers. This is a stark contrast to traditional publishing institutions that would often take up to 85-90% of the profit, while leaving only a very small fraction of the profit for the authors.

Received another $2 million at its 2nd Funding

Metale protocol recently announced a $2 million funding from investors, including Waterdrip Capital, Aipollo Investment, and Ultiverse. So far, the project has a total seed round financing of $4 million. The company revealed that with this new funding, it will be used for ecological content creation and stimulate more content creation activities and promote its protocol to build a content asset chain issuance and distribution platform.

This is the second funding the project has received. Back in 2022, the project also raised $2 million in seed funding from investors such as Chain Capital, LinkVC, Initiate Capital and successful entrepreneurs in the digital and technological industries.
