Passion dampened, BTC shows signs of "bear market reversal"

After some funds exited the market following the September interest rate cut as part of a "sell the fact" strategy, funds both inside and outside the market regrouped, driving BTC to "start" a new round of price increases, reaching a record high of $126,296.00 on October 6 (Coinbase quote, the same below). However, this surge was interrupted on October 10 by the renewed escalation of the "US-China trade war." BTC immediately plummeted, falling to a low of $103,516.75 within several trading days, a drop of over 18%.
