Sam Altman Dismiss Rumours About OpenAI's New 100x AI Model Calling It Fake News

Rumours has been circulating that OpenAI has been gearing up for the launch of its artificial intelligence model, Orion, in December. The model is speculated to be significantly more powerful than its predecessor, GPT-4o and o1.

Verge reports that the new Orion model will be available through ChatGPT. While Orion is seen as the successor to GPT-4 within OpenAI, it is uncertain whether the company will publicly refer to it as GPT-5.

The Orion model is speculated to be 100x more powerful than GPT-4, according to OpenAI executive. The Orion model has no relation to its Strawberry model that was released back in September.
