In celebration of the Token 2049 conference, taking place on the 18-19 of September, ride-hailing platform TADA, in collaboration with TON Foudation, will be offering free rides to participants who are making their way to attend TOKEN 2049.
The first 4,000 users booked a ride through the TADA mini-app on Telegram will get a free ride. After the free 4,000 are exhausted, users will be able to benefit from a 50% discount on subsequent rides using the Ton network for payment.
TADA launches mini-app on Telegram
TADA's collaboration with TON stretches beyond just the TOKEN 2049 conference. TADA has just launched a new mini-app on Telegram that allows users to book rides directly within Telegram without the hassle of registration or downloading additional applications.
Upon checking out, you can even use your digital assets such as Toncoin (TON) and Tether (USDT) to pay for your rides.
Tether first launched its USDT on Ton on April 19, bringing stablecoin to the network. This announcement was made during the keynote speech at the Token 2049 event in Dubai, which includes prominent members like Telegram CEO Pavel Durov, TON Founcation Founding member Andrew Rogozov and Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino.
This collaboration is a prophetic forecast of what we can see in the future, where Web3 can be integrated in every aspect of our lives and services that we use, such as ride-hailing.
Furthermore, the ease of use of Telegram mini apps eliminates many of the traditional barriers associated with the adoption of new technologies.
A supercharge all-in-one app that offers all the services you need
This partnership with Ton Foundation has given TADA a clear advantage over its customers. Renowned for its speed and scalability and ability to handle millions of transactions quickly and efficiently, we can expect TADA to be a supercharged app with speed incomparable with other ride hailing applications.
Telegram is turning itself into a super Web3 all in one app. We can foresee a future where we can process all our everyday needs without even leaving the Telegram app, from payments, gaming to hailing of a cab on top of the messaging functionalities that Telegram is so famous for.
Ton is essentially helping Telegram to evolve into a multifunctional application, capable of offering a full range of blockchain-based services, making the adoption of Web3 a more natural process for users.
Would the other ride hailing services follow in TADA's footsteps?
TADA would be considered as one of the pioneers of the industry to move into the Web3 line. This begs the question that would its competing platforms also do the same.
For example, platforms like GRAB or ComfortDelgro, would we also be able to book rides from this platform through the telegram application? I sincerely feel that in a few years time, we would indeed be able to see all this other ride hailing services on Telegram.
But in the near future, I think they will still be observing the case of TADA and measuring success to determine if they would like to go on that path or not.
Integration of Web3 into our everyday lives
The partnership between Tada and Ton Foundation exemplifies the seamless integration of Web3 into traditional services, bringing users a more enriched experience and new applications for cryptocurrencies.
With the introduction of Tada mini on Telegram, this collaboration not only streamlines ride-hailing but also paves the way for broader blockchain adoption across Asia and globally.
By leveraging the Ton network, the future of transportation is becoming more digital, efficient, and secure, driving the Web3 revolution into the core of everyday services.
