The first phase of this campaign, known as the "Share and Build" airdrop series, will enable users to earn Sparklet tokens—Upland's existing in-game utility token—through various social media activities and in-app missions spanning a three-week period.

Participants can link their Twitter accounts to earn points by actively engaging with Upland and Sparklet content on the platform. These accumulated points will subsequently be converted into Sparklet tokens within the Upland game environment. This approach draws parallels to previous airdrop initiatives centered around tokens like Portal and BlockGames.

Upland Announces Ethereum Token Integration: Token Tradability Event and 'Share and Build' Airdrop Series

Last November, Upland revealed plans to introduce an Ethereum token linked to its in-game Sparklet token. Following community approval, the token tradability event (TTE) will enable users to convert their in-game Sparklet currency into a tradable Ethereum token.

Commenting on the initiative, Dirk Lueth, co-founder and co-CEO of Upland, expressed excitement about the 'Share and Build' airdrop series, emphasizing its alignment with the platform's vision of nurturing a vibrant Web3 ecosystem and rewarding dedicated players.

The initial phase of the airdrop campaign features ten distinct reward levels, with users' engagement levels and social metrics on Twitter influencing their point multipliers. Moreover, participants affiliated with select Upland partners will receive additional "point boosts" to enhance their earning potential.

Furthermore, completion of each subsequent chapter in the airdrop series will grant participants a unique Block Explorer NFT, serving as a valuable game asset within Upland. Accumulating five such rewards unlocks an exclusive NFT for enhanced gameplay experiences.
