In order to build a solid community and make it easy for users to use our services, we are committed to airdrops through the OCAP (Over Community Access Program) program. Tokens will be distributed to users who contribute to the OVER ecosystem based on three criteria: honesty, diligence, and score.
Airdrop Opportunities: Who can claim them?
OverWallet: Users who have passed the Sybil test. The airdrop amount depends on your OverWallet points, friend cards, and testnet activities.
Q: What if I don't pass the Sybil test?
A: Even if you don't pass the Sybil test, only accounts that meet strict standards can get airdrops. Therefore, it is best to participate in the Sybil test process.
OverNode: Users who have met the requirements for the Open Beta testnet Season 1 and Season 2 activities. Sybil detection is not required for the OverNode airdrop.
Nethers NFT: 764.64 OVER will be airdropped per NFT. Sybil detection is not required.
OKX Cryptopedia: Participants of the Cryptopedia task will receive an airdrop to their OKX wallet address.
HashKey Sybil Detection Task: Task participants will receive an airdrop.
The detailed criteria for the airdrop will be announced on August 30th.
By the way, if you have been actively participating in the OverWallet activities, please check out the information below.
More details on "OverWallet: Sybil-detected users"
a. Airdrops are a great way to distribute tokens to early contributors, providing them with an opportunity to participate in the mainnet ecosystem.
b. However, there is a risk of many abusive accounts that are not interested in the long-term success of the project and instead use multiple accounts or bots to pursue financial gain, a problem that has been demonstrated in many cases.
c. Such behavior can have a negative impact on those who truly care about and contribute to the ecosystem.
To address this, we plan to implement several measures to block dishonest accounts and fairly distribute airdrops to users who contribute sincerely.
Sybil Detection Task
a. In May, the first Sybil Detection Task in partnership with Flipster (CEX) successfully screened out many accounts. The new Sybil Detection Task in partnership with HashKey (CEX) aims to provide a second chance to genuine early contributors who were unable to successfully complete the task on Flipster for various reasons.
b. It is worth noting that many abusive activities were detected during the OverWallet mission and testnet activities. Therefore, in order to receive the airdrop allocated for these activities, we strongly recommend passing the Sybil Detection Mission.
Internal Criteria
a. Some genuine contributors may not be able to complete the Sybil Detection Mission due to factors such as geographical or economic barriers (e.g., inability to obtain a passport).
b. In order to avoid disadvantaging these contributors, we will develop internal criteria that will grant them the same qualifications as those who completed the mission. These criteria are based on testnet activities and will be determined after reviewing the data from the HashKey Mission.
c. As these criteria will be applied very strictly, we strongly recommend participating in the HashKey Mission whenever possible. For those who are unable to complete the Sybil Detection, we will collect OverWallet email addresses through a Google Form on the last day of the HashKey Mission.
The new Sybil Detection Mission will begin on Monday, August 19th.
Stay tuned for the next announcement and get ready to participate!
