YouTube responded by removing the hacked channels and displaying a message that read,
"This page isn’t available."
Following the attack, Allahbadia took to his Instagram account to share his thoughts, albeit without a formal statement on the hacking.
In a series of Instagram Stories, he attempted to process the chaos.
One clip showed him running through a jungle, accompanied by the caption:
“me after seeing that my channel got hacked.”
In another moment of reflection, he shared a clip of himself sitting beside a train window, looking lost in thought, with the poignant background song stating,
“Main wapas aaunga (I’ll be back).”
Although the incident caused significant distress, he chose to respond with humour and levity while in Singapore when the incident happened.
Almost a day after the attack, he took to Instagram to share a photo of his meal at a local restaurant, captioning it,
“Celebrating my two main channels being hacked with my favourite food. Vegan burgers. Death of BeerBiceps met with Death of diet.”
In another Instagram story, Ranveer shared a selfie wearing a whimsical cartoon cat eye mask, pondering dramatically,
“Is this the end of my YouTube career? Was nice knowing y’all.”
His playful approach amidst the chaos illustrated the emotional rollercoaster he experienced during the hacking episode.
The light-heartedness in his posts resonated with fans, highlighting his ability to maintain a sense of humour in the face of adversity.
Despite the initial chaos, Allahbadia's channels were reinstated shortly after the attack.
Grateful for the support he received during this troubling time, he expressed his appreciation in an update video, stating,
“Hey guys. Want to update you all that our channels have been restored. Thanks to the YouTube Global and YouTube India team. Very grateful to them, very grateful to you all. Thank you so much for supporting us through this very testing period.”
Reflecting on the incident, he shared how it made him reconsider his future on the platform and also revealed the weight of uncertainty he felt.
He said,
“There was a moment when I thought I’ll have to finally switch to being a full-time entrepreneur. No more YouTube. Thought I’ll focus much more on level supermind. But God has other plans.”
This incident prompted Allahbadia to urge his followers to prioritise cybersecurity.
He emphasised the importance of being vigilant in the digital age, saying,
“I hope this is a reminder for you all to focus much more on your cybersecurity needs. It's something we’ve always been serious about, and then this happened. Cyber safety is a very serious topic. It's the need of the hour. Educate yourself on this topic.”
Addressing rumours that the hacking was a publicity stunt, he firmly denied such claims.
He emphasised the integrity of his platform, stating that,
“I also want to tell you guys that this is not a marketing or a PR stunt. My work is my Dharma. It's my faith. I would not mess around with the image of my work in such a way.”
