Revolut Seeks Full Banking License in Peru to Expand Latin American Presence

According to PANews, British fintech company Revolut has applied for a full banking license in Peru as part of its strategy to expand its operations in Latin America and compete with major fintech firms in the region. The company stated that obtaining this license would enable it to offer a range of localized products and services to Peruvian users, enhancing their financial control. Peru marks the fifth Latin American country that Revolut is entering. The company has already secured a banking license in Mexico, received approval to establish a bank in Colombia, acquired a bank in Argentina, and holds a credit license in Brazil.
