Quantum Computing Commercialization Predicted for Mid-21st Century

ARK Invest founder Cathie Wood has shared insights on the future of quantum computing. According to Odaily, Wood stated that one of the most frequently asked questions about innovation and future trends is related to quantum computing. She noted that extensive research has been conducted on the current stage of quantum computing. Wood predicts that commercial applications related to quantum computing are likely to emerge between the mid-2040s and mid-2060s. Reflecting on her career, she mentioned that the commercialization of quantum computing has always seemed to be '20 years away.' Having been in the field for a considerable time, she now estimates that true commercial applications might still be 19 years away.
