Bus Accident in São Paulo Results in Multiple Casualties

A bus accident in São Paulo, Brazil, has resulted in at least six fatalities and 45 injuries. According to RTHK, the incident occurred early Monday morning when a bus carrying farm workers experienced a tire blowout. This caused the vehicle to lose control, veer off the road, and overturn on the route connecting the cities of Ocauçu and Marília in São Paulo state. The injured have been transported to hospitals for treatment. The São Paulo State Public Security Secretariat stated that police are in the process of identifying the victims and other individuals involved in the accident. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
