European stock markets closed higher, with the UK stock market reaching a new high. According to RTHK, the UK's FTSE 100 index peaked at 10,745 points, closing at 10,686 points, marking an increase of 59 points or nearly 0.6%. Germany's DAX index closed at 25,260 points, up by 217 points, representing a rise of almost 0.9%. France's CAC index ended at 8,515 points, gaining 116 points, which is an increase of approximately 1.4%.
For the week, the UK stock market rose by 2.3%, continuing its upward trend for four consecutive weeks. Meanwhile, Germany's stock market increased by nearly 1.4%, and France's stock market climbed by about 2.5%, both extending their gains for three weeks in a row.
