U.S. Durable Goods Orders Remain Unchanged in January

U.S. durable goods orders remained unchanged in January, contrary to market expectations of a 1.2% increase. According to RTHK, orders for durable goods excluding transportation rose by 0.4%, slightly below the anticipated 0.5% growth. Orders excluding defense increased by 0.5%. Meanwhile, non-defense capital goods orders excluding aircraft remained flat, while the market had predicted a 0.5% rise.
